Why isn't my telemetry being stored?

Live values show on dashboards but charts have no history? Two possible reasons:

  1. Realtime-only tier — your plan has store_telemetry = false. Data streams live but isn't persisted, so there's nothing to seed charts with. Upgrade to a storing tier to keep history.
  2. Storage quota reached — you've hit your plan's max_storage. New telemetry stops being stored until you free space or upgrade.
