Rule action: email

The email action notifies people when a rule fires.

  1. Add an email action to the rule.
  2. Enter one or more recipient addresses.
  3. Set the rule's severity/cooldown so you're not over-paged.

Emails respect your plan's max_action_fires_per_month and allowed_actions. If email isn't selectable, your plan tier doesn't include it — see plans & limits. For machine-to-machine notifications, use webhook or MQTT instead.
