Two-factor authentication (TOTP)

TOTP adds a second step at login: a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password…).

Set it up:

  1. Go to Settings → Security and start 2FA setup.
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  3. Enter the current 6-digit code to confirm and enable it.

After this, sign-in asks for your password and the current code. Store your backup/recovery method somewhere safe — if you lose the authenticator, you'll need it to get back in. Prefer no codes at all? Use passkeys instead.
