Activity log — who changed what

Updated

Settings → Activity lists the changes made in your account, newest first: who did it, when, to what, and — where it applies — what the value was before and after. Use it to answer "who moved this limit?", "when did that rule stop?" or "what did the agent change last night?".

Rollout. The Activity log is being turned on account by account. If you don't see an Activity tab under Settings, it isn't on for your account yet — contact support.

What is recorded

A failed or refused attempt (for example, a member without permission) is not recorded — only what actually happened.

Who did it

Each entry names who acted:

What is never shown

Passwords, tokens, keys and other secrets never appear — a change to one shows as (changed). IP addresses are not shown (sign-ins show the country only). Nothing from any other account appears in yours.

Who can see it

The Owner and members with the Admin role. For a custom role, tick View activity log. Viewer and Operator don't include it, and a member whose access is limited to some devices can't open it — the log covers the whole account.

How far back

Your plan sets how far back the log reaches; the window is shown at the top of the page. Entries older than that drop off automatically.

Filters

Filter by area (devices, gateways, team, security…), by who (owner, members, partner, Synacl Support, agents, or one person) and by date. Use Load more to page further back.
