Restart or reset a gateway
From a gateway's detail page:
- Restart — reboots the gateway. Useful after wiring changes or if it's misbehaving. Emits
gateway/restart(orgateway/restart/failed). - Reset configuration — clears its device/sensor configuration so it re-syncs from Synacl. Emits
gateway/reset-config(orgateway/reset-config/failed).
A restart keeps Wi-Fi and identity; a config reset only clears the sensor/pin setup, not the firmware. For a clean slate, reset config then re-add devices.
