Creating, editing & deleting dashboards
- Create — Dashboards → New. Name it and start adding widgets.
- Edit — open a dashboard and toggle edit mode to move/resize/configure widgets. Auto-save persists changes after a short pause.
- Delete — soft-deletes the dashboard; it's removed from your list.
If you have the same dashboard open in two tabs, the second save may be rejected as stale — Synacl reloads the latest version so you don't overwrite changes. Re-apply your edit and it saves cleanly.
Leaving with unsaved or invalid changes
Auto-save only persists a valid configuration. If a widget is incomplete (for example, freshly added but not yet bound to a device tag), the toolbar shows an Invalid Config pill and saving pauses until you fix or remove it.
If you navigate away in that state, a dialog explains what's wrong and offers two choices:
- Stay & fix — remain on the dashboard and finish configuring (the dialog lists the specific problems).
- Discard changes & leave — abandon the unsaved edits; the dashboard reverts to its last saved version.
