Build your first dashboard

Dashboards visualize the telemetry your devices publish.

1. Go to Dashboards → New dashboard.
2. Drag a widget (chart, gauge, value card) onto the canvas.
3. Bind it to a device tag — the widget streams live values over a websocket.
4. Resize and arrange widgets on the grid. Changes auto-save; there is no separate save button.

New widgets show a Not configured placeholder until you bind them to a data source — pick the device and tag on the widget's Data tab (the widget's title and unit fill in automatically from the tag).

Quick-add from device tags

The fastest way to populate a dashboard: in the Add Widget drawer, switch to the From device tags tab. It lists every device with its tags — search across all of them, then click a tag to instantly add it as a ready-configured digital readout (name and unit included). The drawer stays open, so you can click through several tags in a row.
